Our history ![]() The Wilsher Group was founded in 1989 by Simon Wilsher, with Geo Roberts joining him soon after. Together they designed products, an approach and a culture that built on their 15 years experience as franchisees of an international training group. In October 2002, Simon and Geo launched The Wilsher Group franchise. As ex-franchisees themselves, they really understand the challenges and opportunities of franchising. They remain passionately committed to making their values the foundation of everything we do and find clients like this approach. They include many small organisations and larger blue-chips, such as Cambridge University Press, Company Barclaycard, Domino Sciences, Osborne Clarke, Orange, Virgin and Visa. top Training Your Development Your development is the key; naturally we take it seriously by providing over 40 days of practical training! Much of it is in the field, in real life situations. We start with a focus on sales; your ability to sell will be the foundation to your success. We help you develop relationships and provide work-based solutions. We guide you through setting up and developing your operation. Everything is included: training skills, programme overviews, use of our training management software. The syllabus is based upon our comprehensive Operations Manual and includes oceans of "hands on" experience.The Wilsher Franchising system equips you to deal with everything in a straightforward and proven way. All basic programme material is provided and specialist training management software simplifies your administrative and accounting tasks whilst ensuring first rate, customer service. Once accredited you will be fully prepared for the challenge! Your development will be practical, interactive, stimulating and even enjoyable! It will be totally focused on helping you succeed. When we meet up to talk about matters generally, we will discuss your specific training needs. Our belief in profit-for-all makes this important! Your continuing support Once accredited your development continues; experienced coaches will observe you in action and coach you further. You will attend regular continuous development programmes. Support on sales, marketing and our systems and procedures will continue to be available. We aim to provide the best of both worlds: a business of your own with the support and friendship of a mature organisation with a respected brand name, a strong track record and a proven approach. top Finance The Investment You will need funding of around £45,000 to become a Wilsher Group franchisee. The initial fee is £27,500 and we recommend you have access to an additional £17,500 working capital to draw on as you build your business. The initial fee, payable to Wilsher Franchising contributes to a package including your development, management software that helps you run your business, a starter pack and a franchise fee. Your Income Your income opportunities are good; £50K after the first year. Clearly there is scope to exceed these income figures. Income in the first year maybe lower as franchisees will be spending time training and developing their networks. top Who is ideal?
