Swisher is the UK’s top management franchise. We are an international organisation with a tried and tested formula that has been successful in the UK since 1997. At the British Franchise Association’s prestigious Franchisor of the Year Awards 2004, Swisher not only won the HSBC Award for Enterprise, but was runner-up in the Daily Express Brand Builder Award. Only three awards are made each year and this dual feat has never previously been achieved.

The washroom sector in the UK is already a £3 billion per annum industry and growing rapidly.  We have made huge advancements into this marketplace through the increasing demand for our unique service and products.   Thousands of companies across the business spectrum are taking the Swisher service each week including hospitals, nursing homes, nursery schools, offices, factories, shops, leisure centres, public buildings, shopping centres, etc..  Blue chip customers include BP Connect, Burger King, Costco, Esso, Häagen-Dazs, Hertz UK Limited, Metro Palace Hotels, KFC, Mark One, McDonald’s, Mecca Bingo, Odeon Cinemas, Pizza Hut, Royal Bank of Scotland, Safeway, Shell, Texaco, Welcome Break, W H Smith, and Wimpy.  We have also secured national account contracts with various blue chip companies (including Bourne Leisure and Spirit Group).  These have been negotiated by Swisher Corporate on behalf of our franchisees.  In fact, Swisher is currently servicing over 1.65 million fixtures per annum in the UK.

    Training and Support

    Swisher has one of the best support ratios in franchising with 2 franchisees to each member of Corporate staff (the national average is 7:1). We provide excellent initial sales and service training both in the classroom and on territory.

    We also have a comprehensive and extensive ongoing training programme, which includes additional Sales, Service, Management, P&Ls, Accounts, Managing your Staff, IT & Internet, and Customer Care.  There is a Swisher training taking place somewhere in the UK most weeks of the year.

    When you join Swisher, we will assist you with the recruitment, selection and training of your management staff.  We will also work closely with you to ensure that they are achieving optimum performance.

    Swisher Corporate also provides centrally all of your invoices and statements.  We will also assist with debt collection and act as a Call Centre for our franchisees and their customers.

    Financial Information

    The fee for a Swisher franchise is £30,000 + VAT.  The total investment required will be approximately between £60,000 - £70,000 (which includes the franchise fee, the set-up costs, and the running costs for the first 2 years).  The banks, subject to status, will lend up to 70% of the total amount required.

    To join Swisher, all you will need is your own personal available liquid capital of £25,000.

    Swisher also offers support through the DTI scheme.

    Territories/Locations

    Swisher awards exclusive 500,000 population territories which have between 10,000 – 20,000 potential customers.  It is impossible to reach customer saturation within your territory - even at a £500,000 turnover, your staff will only be servicing around 350 customers. 

    We carefully select our franchisees and currently have opportunities available in most areas of the UK.
