About us

Stainbusters came to the UK from Australia in 1994 and have since established themselves as one of the most respected franchise networks in the country and are full members of the British Franchise Association (BFA).

Stainbusters specialises in stain removal, deep dry cleaning and protection of carpets, upholstery, curtains, leather and mattresses for both domestic and commercial markets.

The market for professional carpet and soft furnishings cleaning is vast and keeps growing because of the unique customer benefits of the Stainbusters service. Our franchisees use advanced ionisation technology to deep dry-clean. We can guarantee that:

Training and Support

You Win With Our Help

Operating from purpose built headquarters in Suffolk, facilities include a dedicated training facility encompassing all aspects of cleaning, sales, marketing and business management, a national customer call centre, production and warehousing for all Stainbusters solutions and a technical support operation.

Your Training

Getting you started is our first priority and that commences with your induction training. During the first full week you will cover all the major aspects of your new business. This will include an organisation overview, training on sales together with the theoretical and practical aspects of the cleaning process.

We then move out of a classroom environment and under the close guidance of a training technician you continue your practical training on site. Then, during your third week we cover the day-to-day management plus the marketing side of your new business. From here you will commence the practical sales and marketing aspect within your territory following the detailed and highly structured programme of activities.

Your support manager works closely with you to launch your new business and to ensure that you are working in line with your business plan. This close initial training and ongoing support is complimented by regular regional “Business Builder Days” and the Annual Conference which take the form of structured training sessions for the entire network.

Marketing Systems

You will operate some of the most powerful marketing systems in the world and certainly within the cleaning industry. These include nationally co-ordinated advertisement campaigns, recommendation incentives and high quality informative promotional materials. Through education and the understanding of our customers needs, all Stainbusters franchisees approach customers with knowledge and professionalism.

National Sales

Many customers are now looking for a national solution to their cleaning needs and through the provision of our committed national sales support team this need is matched to our national, highly trained team of technicians. Total project management is provided by Stainbusters head office starting with securing the order, scheduling the national clean, through to final invoicing. Many companies benefit from this total package, including hotels, retail outlets and train companies.

Customer Services

Strong marketing and customer care is of paramount importance to us. Our national 0800 freephone and freefax enables the entire network to communicate a single clear message to customers and allow the support team in Customer Services to provide a vital service to franchisees businesses. Customers call one central number where they are assisted by fully trained personnel who will quote and book appointments using the bespoke computerised Stainbusters booking system, they will also receive your messages and immediately communicate them back to you. This means that franchisees do not need to employ individual office staff to man telephones whilst they are providing the service.

Owner Operator Franchise

Based upon one territory and one van, the total funding investment includes the initial franchise fee, a full set of equipment, chemicals, van deposit and all expected start up costs and working capital.
  • Initial franchise fee - £12,995
  • Total initial funding required (incl. Franchise fee, vat etc) - £25,000
  • Liquid capital required - £7,500
  • Once the business is established (after 2 years) the expected net profit should exceed £25,000 per annum

Funding

Because franchisees, particularly those of British Franchise Association full members, have a high success rate, the major high street banks are confident to lend up to 70% of the funding required to establish the business – subject to status. The total funding requirement to establish a Stainbusters franchise includes the total capital investment plus reasonable earnings, VAT and working capital.
