About us

Profit Focus Group (PFG) is a franchised Consultancy Operation with over 50 Consultants. Roles are split between sales and account management, project management and project analysis. PFG recognise that no one person will be able to excel in all elements of the business. Moreover, if one person did perform all the roles in the business it would take much longer to build. To minimise the risk of failure due to long lead in times PFG uses teamwork to get new businesses off the ground as quickly as possible. Each consultant is selected according to skill set, in order to strengthen an existing team or to create a new team in areas of development. For consultants this means that they get the business up and running and begin to develop the business as soon as they finish training.

Business Concept

The Profit Focus business concept is very simple. Most organisations suffer inefficiencies and incur excessive costs or do not maximise revenue opportunities. However, many companies lack both the time and expertise to conduct an overall review of their core and non-core process costs to the extent that PFG can.

Using a tried and tested methodology PFG reviews a client's business processes and offers solutions that are focused on eliminating waste and eradicating or changing unnecessary processes. Throughout the review, the client’s involvement is kept to a minimum with input only required at key milestones. This gives them the benefit of decision making without being distracted from running their own businesses. The client chooses a solution that will suit the company and PFG implements it to ensure new processes are integrated smoothly. Few other organisations can offer this service and fewer still offer it on a contingency basis. It is only after implementation that the consultant is paid. This is either 50 per cent of the actual saving over 12 months or 40 per cent upfront of projected savings in the first year. Either way, if no savings are found the client pays nothing.

Training and support

PFG invest heavily in time and money to ensure that each franchised business has the best possible chance to succeed. To this end, a dedicated Business Development Manager meets regularly with Consultants to review progress and where necessary offers advice to ensure the business is kept on track.

Additional training sessions are held to meet the needs of individuals including, team building, sales techniques and technical inputs. Teams meet regionally on a regular basis to share information and best practice.

PFG's extranet is another source of support. The site contains databases detailing project work, supplier information, report templates, e-marketing material, technical case studies and resumes of all consultants in the network. The news board is updated frequently with the latest contract won or news item. Consultants can also communication through many of the interactive forums.

The PFG head office team are a phone call away to answer any questions on any aspect of the business that may arise on a day to day basis. Further advice is available in the Operating Manuals that are updated on a regularly basis.

In addition to extensive training and support programmes Consultants receive a start up marketing pack containing brochures, newsletters, corporate stationery as well as full colour client references. Corporate email addresses and a client website reinforce the PFG brand.
