PlumbLocal Training

The PlumbLocal training lasts for 3 months beginning with nine weeks at the training centre where franchisees complete the City & Guilds 6129 syllabus. New Franchisees then gain experience in the field with an established franchisee. The final stage of the training covers business and marketing, customer care and use of technology. Franchisees are trained on the PlumbLocal operating systems and accounting packages which help each franchisee to run their business.

At the end of the training franchisees are able to:

  • Install bathrooms (Including tiling)
  • Repair and install hot and cold water systems
  • Repair emergency plumbing related problems
  • Install washing machines and dishwashers
  • Clear blocked drains
  • Offer a reliable local plumbing service at a sensible price

Bathroom Local
PlumbLocal plumbers offer a complete plumbing service.

The service has recently been extended with the launch of www.bathroomlocal.co.uk an online showroom with over 3000 product lines. With ranges that rival any high street retailer or major DIY chain this market leading initiative enables PlumbLocal franchisees to offer both supply and professional fitting of bespoke bathrooms and bathroom fittings.

Regional Franchise Opportunity
Our Regional Franchisees manage the PlumbLocal business within a larger geographical area. A regional franchise is made up of 4 or more territories.

Regional franchisees benefit from all the features of the single territory.

In addition regional franchisees receive:

  • Full City & Guilds 6129 training and qualification for themselves or an elected competent person.
  • Fully branded and substantially discounted vehicles
  • Access to our training schools enabling employees to gain further qualifications including CORGI registration.
  • A territory capable of supporting 20 plus vehicles
Since we expect the average Regional territory to support 20 vehicles, regional franchisees will need to be able to present a strong business plan to the company. This role will suit people who have run their own business, or had senior management experience.
