Finance
From the BFA information, records show that the average cost of becoming a franchisee is £52,809. If you have done your homework, you will know that many BFA member franchises you could join would cost you the following:

Merry Maids (2002 figures) - The Franchise License that includes training programme and ongoing support (investment £11,500), plus the Equipment Package (investment £5,100), includes software, and equipment, stationery, business cards and promotional materials, totalling £17,100 plus VAT equalling £20,092.50 plus a percentage of turnover.

Other cleaning franchises require investment as of £8,800 plus a higher percentage of turnover plus working capital required of £3000.

As a Maid2Clean® franchisee, you will not have to pay anywhere near the amounts above. There are no glossy brochures or bureaucratic overheads associated with our business. The package includes the proprietary information, training programme, business plan, ongoing training period and unlimited support throughout the trading period, a joint visit to an accountant and bank during set-up and the right to use the Maid2Clean® trademark and stationery, forms, business letters legal contracts etc.

Maid2Clean is not a business opportunity as the term ‘Bus. Op.’ implies potential success or failure. Applying to become a Maid2Clean franchisee is a two-fold process.
