Our mission

To be the leading supplier of promotional products and services which incorporate Liquid Lens Technology in Europe by creating a brand that is widely recognised throughout the Industry. We will achieve this by recruiting, developing and training a network of highly motivated Franchisees that that are committed to making their Liquid Lens Technology Centre Franchise a long-term profitable business. All hardware, software and consumables will be purchased from the Franchisor at a competitive price, giving the Franchisee a guaranteed high margin business. To protect and develop the brand Franchisees will be expected to follow the business model as specified in the Manual. In return we will give the optimum level of service and support and recognise that the success of our business is dependant upon the success of each Liquid Lens Technology Centre.

How does a Liquid Lens Technology Centre operate?

A Liquid Lens Technology Centre is a home based business opportunity typically working in an area of approximately 2x4 square metres. Each Liquid Lens Technology Centre is trained and equipped to manufacture high quality promotional products and merchandise in short and long runs with a fast turn around, using the unique Liquid Lens process. Using the Liquid Lens process the Technology Centres are able to brand and personalise a wide range of added value products capable of generating high margins. Liquid Lens Europe holds a large stock of carefully selected promotional items including pens, key chains, cufflinks, ID Badges, golf accessories and conference folders. The Liquid Lens Technology Centres do not need to hold stock and only order stock against confirmed orders. All of the national sales and marketing is managed and funded by Liquid Lens Europe, this includes:
  • Membership of trade organisations
  • Attendance at National Exhibitions
  • Advertising and PR
  • Website
  • Direct Marketing
All leads generated as a result of the National Marketing are forwarded to the appropriate Liquid Lens Technology Centre. The Liquid Lens Technology Centres are trained to implement a local sales and marketing campaign aimed at generating local business. Each Liquid Lens Technology Centre is supported by a team committed to providing a dedicated and professional service. Each member of the team is extremely experienced in their field and in developing successful franchised businesses.

About the franchise

Does a Franchisee get an exclusive territory?
Each franchisee is granted a territory which means that all leads received by LLE from with in their territory will be forwarded to them for follow up. There will be no more than 30 LLTC with in the UK and they will all be strategically located to avoid overlap.

What are the terms of the Franchise Agreement?
All Liquid Lens Technology centres operate as franchisees of Liquid Lens Europe. The franchise agreement has been approved by the British Franchise Association and operates for an initial term of 5 years. A copy of the Franchise agreement is available on request however the salient points are:

Initial fee
£30,000 this fee includes a Territory, Equipment and Materials, Licensed use of Intellectual Property and Professional Support which includes ongoing National Sales & Marketing and ‘performance coaching’. We have also included accounts software your own website and a starter pack of components and consumables.

Performance Coaching - What’s it all about?
At Liquid Lens we recognise that we all measure our success in different ways and to help our Franchisees gain greater competence, overcome barriers to achievement and most importantly achieve their goals we employ a proven ‘performance coaching technique’ and all of our Franchisees benefit from this process. One of the great benefits of our ‘performance coaching technique’ is that it delivers results rapidly and provides structure to enable our franchisees to set their goals and measure their performance.

How much does Liquid Lens sell in their first year of trading?
A Liquid Lens Technology Centre should expect to reach annual sales of £50,000 in their first year of trading rising to more than £125,000 in year 3.

How much profit does a Liquid Lens Technology Centre make?
Based upon an average Gross Margin of 65% this will generate gross profits of £32,500 rising to £81,250 in year 3.

What resources are required?

The structure and resources necessary to run Liquid Lens Technology Centre are typically as follows:

    1 rising to 2 staff over 3 years.

  • Skills
    We work closely with the Franchisee to develop the skills necessary to operate a successful Liquid Lens Technology Centre. However we would not grant a Liquid Lens Franchise unless the candidate could demonstrate the following competencies IT and technical, good communication, excellent organisation, determination and commitment.

  • Premises and Services
    A Liquid Lens Technology Centre is initially a home-based business operating out of a separate room/building with a minimum footprint size of 2 x 4 metres. An independent telephone line that is linked to an answer service for office hours is essential.

  • Local Sales & Marketing
    The Liquid Lens Technology Centre benefits from the national marketing campaign however it will also be necessary to do some local marketing Liquid Lens Europe provide full guidance on this.

  • Stock
    All products included in the Product Range and are held in stock by Liquid Lens Europe. The Franchisee can purchase stock against orders for guaranteed next day delivery therefore no working capital is tied up in stock.

How much training and support will I get?

The initial training takes place over approximately 6 weeks and it is split into three 2 days modules:
  • Module 1
    Covers all of the commercial aspects of the business everything from how to answer the telephone, to preparing a quotation and collecting payment.

  • Module 2
    This takes place at the Liquid Lens Technology Centre and includes installation of the equipment and technical training.

  • Module 3
    This covers additional technical training and is a review of modules 1 and 2. Following the successful completion of the three training modules the Liquid Lens Technology Centre is ready to commence trading.
