Established in 1993, CNA is the largest independent executive search franchise and management consultancy group in Europe. As a CNA executive search franchisee, you can offer your clients a multi-suite of high-quality professional services as well as recruitment. This diverse service capability is unique in the recruitment industry.

Our success formula is simple
Our marketing and recruitment strategies together with a quality driven “total solutions” approach, has enabled us to build a global base of blue chip clients. All of our services are provided from within the CNA group so the quality of delivery is controlled by us. These synergistic services produce high-profit margins even during recessionary periods.

Your role
You will need to be a team player. The CNA culture calls for cooperation and the ability to work in small teams to capture business. Our proven business model and our unique search systems, will enable you to build your own team of consultants and become business partners with your clients on a global basis. Not only will you place high-calibre employees with these clients, you will work with an outstanding team of professional CNA account managers and consultants. This will increase your fee income significantly.

A growth business
Most companies will have preferred supplier lists in order to save money. Recruiters find it difficult to get on these lists, especially with the larger companies. If a recruiting company can deliver additional complementary services, then it is easier to become a preferred supplier. We work in small teams to leverage our total resources to produce additional revenue streams for everyone. Conventional recruitment companies do not have this capability. These additional high-demand services enable CNA franchisees to develop unusually strong relationships with clients and at the same time, build a solid and profitable, recession-resistant business.

Recruitment experience not necessary- start from home
We have modern and comprehensive training programs that teach you the strategies of building a business around a proven business model. This training and support is ongoing and is customised to suit you and the consultants you will hire as you expand your business. Initially we can allow you to work from home before moving into an office.

The business

Our franchisees are all ages, men and women from diverse backgrounds. Their job is to assess their clients business needs using our unique CABS ™ and Pure Search approach. We have a Major Accounts Team in place to work with you to win and close business. As part of your client service offering, you have a consultancy capability of more than 30 different skill sets and you can also supply interim executives to handle special projects. Additionally, your services include: Benchmarking, psychometric assessment, outplacement, skills leaseback and HR outsourcing. Furthermore, you will join one of our industry-based project teams who will help you to penetrate companies and develop your client base. All of this is accomplished within a unique culture of cooperation.

Financial information

The franchise fee including training is £30,000. Working capital is also required and this will range from £15,000 to £25,000 depending upon whether you start your business from home or an office. So the total investment is between £45,000 and £55,000 with most of the major banks providing up to 70% financing. We do not make earnings claims, this is a subjective matter and each franchisee will have different business objectives. However, our disclosure literature includes a business plan that gives a realistic example of what you can expect to earn as a CNA franchisee. We will work with you to develop your own business plan so that you can attain your own personal cash-flow objectives.

Who’s ideal for us

Recruitment experience is not required. Our franchisees come from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and be prepared to lead by example. Good communication skills are essential and you will have a strong desire to build a solid and profitable business. Our selection process is stringent and we will tell you early in the process if we feel that our business is not right for you.
